Heroes and Heroines has come to an end. The lucky winner of the grand prize NookColor is Sharon Crompton!
Sharon has been a library card holder for 60 years, 36 of those years at the Pleasanton Library. She has played the Adult Summer Reading game since it began four years ago, but has never before won a prize. Her favorite book this summer was Cat Sitter Among the Pigeons by Blaize Clement. Her favorite Library program this summer was Wild Cats! presented by the Children’s Department. Besides being an avid reader and library user, Sharon loves animals and volunteers with Valley Humane Society, tending to cats (what else?) awaiting adoption. She is looking forward to trying out her Nook E-reader. Congratulations, Sharon!
